Bill got hooked on scuba the first time he saw Jacques-Yves Costeau on television. He was certified as an Open Water Diver and Advanced Open Water Diver at Lake McConaughy in Nebraska in 1982 and received his Open Water Scuba Instructor in 2008. We are very happy to have Bill working with us here at Colorado Scuba Diving academy. When he’s not diving, Bill enjoys riding his Harley, playing guitar, and of course, hanging with his kids.
Like so many of us, Bill has a difficult time naming just one favorite dive spot. However, some of his most memorable dives took place in Guam, Thailand, and the Channel Islands, where “the kelp forest is amazing!” In addition to exploring the world’s greatest dive locations, Bill really takes advantage of the local diving here in Colorado and Nebraska – he’s a great resource!
As an instructor, Bill’s favorite classes to teach are the Open Water Diver, Discover Scuba Diving, and Bubblemakers – he really likes introducing scuba to people for the first time. On a personal level, night diving would be the one type of dive that Bill especially enjoys.
