Master Scuba Diver Trainer
Samuel Bachar, has over 27 years of experience in the business of Adventure Travel and Tourism, Project Management and Customer Service. He started guiding 27 years ago and after several years of experience as a rafting guide on the Jordan River, began guiding and leading multi-day Eco adventure trips in countries all over the world: Turkey, Africa, South America and North America. Successfully executing roles in project development, operational management and as the lead adventure guide in foreign countries, he has required building a vast network of connections, many hours of research, sound judgment and the ability to perform and manage staff members in unforeseen environments.
Being drawn to nature all his life, it was just a matter of time, before Samuel was introduced to scuba diving. In 1990 he got his open water certification, and never stopped diving since then. Water is "in his blood", as he has been guiding whitewater expeditions around the world and diving for the past 27 years, he’s a yacht skipper, and has a B.Sc. in Marine Science.
As he became a family man, Samuel decided to focus all of his attention on scuba diving and ocean conservation, and on scuba divers and people who want to become scuba divers. Most of Samuel’s diving experience, and 100’s of dives, were in the Mediterranean Sea, and the Israeli/Egyptian Red Sea. Samuel is a skilled outdoorsman and a true adventure seeker, spurred on by his love of nature and the thrill of new experiences; he co-founded Colorado Scuba Diving Academy (CSDA).
Samuel Bachar’s most valuable attribute to CSDA is his enthusiastic, goal-oriented ability to motivate and drive people and projects forward. He’s a true leader and safety perfectionist, and would love to share what he knows, with everyone who’s interested.
