You have all heard the stories; NOW it's time to be part of the legend!

 

We have dived in many places around the world, but Palau holds a special place in our hearts. Palau, a Micronesian island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, approximately 800 miles east of the Philippines and 500 miles north of Papua New Guinea, is a diver’s dream. It's a picture postcard, a historic World War II battle scene, and a convergence of currents in the middle of the ocean where nutrients flood into channels, and every kind of sea creature imaginable concentrates. Rock Islands, like giant green mushrooms, jut out of the crystal waters into the sky.

 

This is as exotic as dive travel gets, the holy grail of diving—an immense nature preserve with healthy and flourishing reefs. It is possible to see everything from a variety of nudibranchs to schools of Napoleon Wrasse, Manta Rays, and Whale Sharks on any and every dive.

The typical week-long dive trip isn’t quite enough for traveling this far. So, we have arranged for 10 nights in Palau, with 8 days of diving (21 scheduled dives). If you want to see sharks, there are 12 varieties that frequent Palau and we will appreciate their grace and beauty on every dive. Turtles are our constant companions. Spinning baitfish balls, WW II Wrecks, Healthy Reef Formations, Blue Holes, Chandelier Cave, and a snorkel tour in Jellyfish Lake are all part of the program.

Whether hanging on a reef hook and watching the show along the world-famous Blue Corner, or ripping along the German Channel on a drift dive, or slowly and lazily looking for macro-life, there is something interesting and exciting for everyone.

Colorado Scuba Diving Academy will be bringing a few lucky adventurers to Palau for 10 nights, from October 16 - 26, 2024. Flights are not included in this package. CSDA staff will be flying through Taipei, Taiwan, with China Air and will meet all the travelers in our group at LAX, who are going to use the same flight we are on. From Taipei, we catch a second flight to Palau and arrive on the evening of the 16th. Since we crossed the International date line, we lose 2 days on the way there, but we gain a day on the way home. We have arranged for 21 dives, Nitrox 32 for each dive, Lodging, Daily Breakfasts, Lunches on dive days, and some very special treats while in Koror and around the Island.
