Colorado Scuba Diving Academy has a repair and maintenance department. Our certified technician can perform repairs, periodic service (overhaul), and inspection on most major equipment brands. We listed all of the brands we carry below, but we are certified to service even more. Which brands do you cervice?


The list of brand we carry regularly are listed below, however, we also service equipment that we dont carry regularly. If you are not sure, the best thing is to reach out and ask. You can uese the online form on the buttom of this page or call us at 855-55-SCUBA (72822)




What is the difference between inspection and overhaul?


Inspections are there to make sure your equipment has maintained and withing the manufacturer’s specifications since last serviced. We will check that all the parts, like hoses, mouth piece, etc. are intact, and make adjuments to ensure your regulator is in good shape and ready to dive. Overhaul is when a technician takes your regulator apart, cleans it, and replace the internal parts with new ones. Overhauls are normally required every 2 years or 200 dives, whichever one comes first. Inspections should be done one year after your ovehaul, or if you feel like you regulator is not prforming well between ovehaul schedules.




How often do I need to service my equipment?


Every manufacture has a different service interval for their specific equipment. Normally it is 200 dives (pool or open water) or one year, which ever comes first (some equipment can go longer than that). Please check with the manufacture of your brand or look in you owner's manual.




Do I need to service my gear even if I didn't use it?


Yes, it is recommended to service your gear at the manufacture's recommended service interval, even if you didnt use it. Some of the internal part of your regulator, wil deteriorate over time regardless of usesage.




What is your turn around time?


The turn around time depends on how backed up we are, and if we have your equipment service kits in stock (we are trying carry in stock all service kits at all the times, however, there is a slim possibility that we might be out). If we are not backed up and have everything we need in stock, the turn around time is normmally 2 week (or less).




Do you change batteries in dive computers?


Yes we do! Some older brands might need to be sent back to the manufacture, if they are not design to be replaced by the user, otherwise we can handle all dive computers. If you are not sure, then you can call/email us and ask.
